THANK YOU for your interest in volunteering In Jackson County. There is plenty to do but there are two current and important initiatives to consider among all listed on the form below. The initiatives are Battle Ground Michigan and becoming a certified Election Challenger for the November 2, 2021 election and elections in 2022.
Become an Election Challenger
(Often referred to as a POLL CHALLENGER)
Ensure Election Integrity!
Each election is an open and transparent process that may be observed by any interested person. In order to secure election integrity, it’s important to have as many conservative eyes as possible at the polling place as an ELECTION CHALLENGER. This position carries more responsibility than a POLL WATCHER. In order to be an officially CREDENTIALED Election Challenger, you have to be trained by the Michigan Republican Party (MRP).
Election Challengers may be appointed by political parties and qualified interest groups to observe the election process. A person who wishes to observe but is not a qualified Election Challenger is commonly called a Poll Watcher. We need Election Challengers!

Training takes about an hour and is done through the Michigan Republican Party. Training can take place via zoom or in-person. When you fill out the form below, please make sure you choose “Election (Poll) Challenger” if you are interested in getting trained.

Introducing “Battle Ground Michigan”
Battleground Michigan is a critical program for the MiGOP and will help us build the most robust voter file in Michigan history. The data generated will help all of our candidates target their television, mail, and digital advertising and make us more competitive against Democrats in 2022.
The goal of the program is to ID as many voters prior to the fall of 2022 to help in our efforts to elect Republicans from Governor and Legislature down to County Commission and City Council.
The JCRC Will Get Paid by the Michigan Republican Party for Your Effort!
Each door ID will generate $0.50 and each phone ID $0.25. IDs must be completed using Campaign Sidekick, the official voter contact app for MIGOP and the House and Senate campaign committees, which will be used to measure performance. Each time a county reaches 5% of their goal (5% of registered voters), they will be paid for the voters identified.
Campaign Sidekick is an app that you can download on your smartphone or smart device. The app will allow you to generate maps for door-to-door and/or make phone calls.
